Welcome to Decision Pathways!

If you’ve got this far you probably have an interest in how organisations take decisions.

In a 35 year business career with Shell that was my fascination too. From early days as director for Shell’s Upstream graduate entry training programme, where I came across the first of some great leadership consultants I’ve worked with, through a variety of roles across the globe as a project team member then project leader preparing decisions, to being a business leader taking some significant decisions in high risk environments, I’ve always been interested in the tools & behaviours that help, and hinder, that process.

In this occasional blog, I intend to talk about some of those tools & behaviours and in the process connect readers with the articles, books, podcasts and other media that I have found interesting and persuasive.
